Woohoo! Thanks for the great giveaway, I'm emailing you now. :)
Sweet! What a bonus! Your lovely reviews AND a new book.
So it took me long enough but I'm finally back to say thanks again and comment on the actual book. First off I must say that I took a bit of chance as I'm not a huge fan of contemporary romance. For some reason I just don't enjoy it as much as historical romance. However, on top of that I found that I don't have the emotional fortitude to keep up with Frankie. She was so up and down all the time. I eventually had to tune her out for my own sanity which means I wasn't able to really care about her as a character. I did find the soap writer hook to be really interesting and there are some laugh out loud lines that I really enjoyed. I just wish I had been able to become more attached to the characters. Ah well, sometimes we just don't connect with some books.
